  • Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the App, including feature usage, session duration, and app interactions. This helps us improve the product.
  • Device Information: We collect device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers to ensure the App functions correctly.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide the Service: Process your journal entries to identify thought patterns and generate your Overthinking Intensity (OTI) score and micro-interventions.
  • Improve the App: Analyze usage patterns to understand how users interact with the App and make improvements.
  • Communicate with You: Send you important updates about the App, respond to support requests, and notify you of changes to our policies.
  • Ensure Security: Monitor for and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

3. How We Process Your Journal Entries

Your privacy is our priority. Here's exactly how we handle your journal content:

  • Local Storage: Your journal entries are stored on your device, not on our servers.
  • Analysis Processing: When you submit an entry for analysis, the text is sent via encrypted connection to our analysis service (powered by a third-party AI provider) to identify thought patterns.
  • No Retention: Your journal text is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers or our AI provider's servers after the analysis is complete.
  • Anonymization: No personally identifiable information is included with the text sent for analysis.

4. Third-Party Services

We work with the following third-party service providers:

  • AI Analysis Provider: We use a third-party AI service to analyze journal entries and identify thought patterns. Text is processed in real-time and not retained.
  • Analytics: We use analytics tools to understand App usage and improve our product. These tools collect anonymized usage data.
  • Apple: If you make in-app purchases, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Journal Entries: Stored locally on your device. You can delete individual entries or all entries at any time within the App.
  • Account Data: Retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
  • Usage Data: Anonymized usage data may be retained for up to 24 months for product improvement purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your data.
  • Export: Export your journal entries from within the App.
  • Delete: Delete individual entries, export your data, or delete your entire account.
  • Correct: Update your account information at any time.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Loop Off is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. 8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
