Welcome to Loop Off. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Loop Off mobile application (the "App") provided by Loop Off ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • Keep your account credentials confidential.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Description of Service

Loop Off is a journaling application that helps users recognize and reflect on thought patterns. The App uses AI-powered analysis to identify recurring thoughts, provides an Overthinking Intensity (OTI) score, and offers micro-interventions to support self-reflection.

Important Disclaimer

Loop Off is a self-reflection and personal awareness tool. It is NOT a medical device, mental health treatment, or substitute for professional advice.

  • The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition.
  • The insights and suggestions provided by the App are for informational and self-reflection purposes only.
  • If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
  • In case of emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Loop Off offers both free features and premium features available through in-app purchases.

  • Free Features: Basic journaling and some analysis features are available for free.
  • Premium Features: Additional features may be available through subscription or one-time purchase via the Apple App Store.
  • Payment: All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information.
  • Subscriptions: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the App, including your journal entries. By using the App's analysis features, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the analysis service.

You are responsible for the content you create and agree not to use the App to:

  • Create, store, or transmit illegal content.
  • Violate the rights of others.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the App's security.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality.
  • Use automated means to access the App without our permission.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Use the App in any way that could harm or overburden our systems.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Loop Off and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will meet your specific requirements.
  • The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • The analysis or insights provided will be accurate or reliable.
  • Any defects in the App will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOOP OFF AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Loop Off and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the App will immediately cease.
  • You may export your data before deletion if you wish to retain a copy.
  • We will delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or sending you a notification. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Loop Off regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
